Life So Far
I got hit with the performing bug at an early age, sha-la-la-ing to "Kiss the Girl" from The Little Mermaid. I grew up in an Urban, low-income area. There weren't many opportunities to nurture my growing love of the arts but I've sought every opportunity. Not one for traditional schooling, I’ve developed my craft by taking an unconventional approach to studying: enrolling for masterclasses, artist-in-residencies, and workshops while working in the industry to stay adapt in current and emerging techniques. Beyond rewarding, the arts, has the transformative power to heal.
A self-proclaimed “doer of everything!” Whether it’s singing, acting, dancing, or working behind the scenes as a stage manager and make-up/wig designer. I’ve also used my passion for writing to develop an original play which was featured in two festivals.
When I’m not on stage I can be found engaging with people as a Reiki healer and Yoga teacher, fostering kittens, busting a move down the grocery aisle, or scribbling poems.
